The results of the "PEPA LIGHTING SRL – PRODUCT, PROCESS AND SERVICE INNOVATION" project
PEPA LIGHTING SRL, as Beneficiary, announces the completion of the activities of the project "PEPA LIGHTING SRL-PRODUCT, PROCESS AND SERVICE INNOVATION, SMIS Code 131383, financed by the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2: "Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises ", Investment priority 2.1 A: "Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, especially by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and by encouraging the creation of new enterprises, including through business incubators".

The general objective of the project aimed at accessing a source of non-reimbursable support, which would support product, process, service innovation through the purchase of equipment and machinery specific to the production activity: 2740. The purpose of the project was to ensure complementarity of these actions and the implementation of measures regarding equal opportunity and treatment, minimization at the source of waste generated from the production activity, implementation of measures to make the premises accessible to people with disabilities.

The specific objectives of the project had in mind:

The purchase of equipment, machinery and intangible assets specific to the activity for which funding was requested, aimed at increasing production efficiency. This objective also included: the purchase of equipment/machinery with low energy consumption including eco-friendly technologies thus minimizing the impact on the environment, minimizing the waste generated at the source and increasing the degree of recovery and recycling of waste by purchasing a bin for selective collection with 3 containers, upgrading and purchasing more energy efficient equipment by purchasing a ventilation system with heat recovery, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities: purchasing a mobile ramp.
  The acquisition of specialized services as follows: consultancy for the elaboration of the Business Plan and the Application for financing, management services during the project implementation period, specialized services for information activities and project publicity according to the POR 2014-2020 Visual Identity Manual.
  Compliance with the principles regarding equal opportunities and treatment between women and men, the employment of people from disadvantaged categories, the implementation of measures regarding the minimization of waste generated from the activity performed at the source.
The total value of the project was 716,600.78 lei, of which the non-refundable amount was 572,521.36 lei, of which the non-refundable amount from the ERDF was 486,643.16 lei and the non-refundable amount from the state budget was 85,878.20 lei, and the amount ineligible was 2949.08 lei.

The results of the project consisted of:

The purchase of a number of 35 equipment and machines in accordance with the activity proposed by the project: 2042 - Manufacture of electrical lighting equipment. Among the equipment purchased are: Electric pallet truck - 1 pc., Electric forklift - 1 pc., Industrial shelving system - 1 pc., Set of shelves with shelves in a multi-level system - 1 pc., CNC equipment with 3 industrial servo axes - 1 pc., Engraving equipment- laser cutting - 1 pc, Multifunctional color laser - 1 pc, Access Point - 2 pc, Mobile barcode reader - 4 pc, UPS - 2 pc, Laptop - 2 pc, All in one system - 3 pc, Surveillance system kit video - 1 pc, Work bench - 3 pc, Packing station - 3 pc, Centrifugal fan - 1 pc, Welding machine - 1 pc, Industrial compressor - 1 pc, Exhaust fan - 1 pc, Manual sheet rolling machine - 1 pc , Sheet metal bending machine – 1 pc., Electric milling machine – 1 pc.
The acquisition of an intangible asset, necessary to carry out the production activity by using the software solution integrated in the product management process.
The acquisition of specialized services as follows: consultancy for the elaboration of the Business Plan and the Application for financing, management services during the project implementation period, specialized services for information activities and project publicity according to the POR 2014-2020 Visual Identity Manual.
The purchase of a specific equipment in order to obtain an energy saving, the ventilation system with heat recovery being an energy efficient equipment.

Implementation of information and publicity measures regarding the project: Placement of a temporary panel/poster with project information at the entrance to the project implementation location, labeling of equipment with stickers to ensure project visibility.
Purchase of a mobile ramp to ensure access to the building for people with disabilities
The purchase of a bin for the selective collection with 3 containers to minimize the generated waste at the source and increase the degree of waste recovery and recycling.
The creation of 5 new jobs, of which 1 job is assigned to a person from the category of disadvantaged people.
The impact of the investment is reported at the county and regional level by: introducing a new technology in the production process for the manufacture of electrical lighting equipment, diversifying the products offered by the company and increasing the quality of the products offered to create added value through the proposed investment. The project aimed at the purchase of specialized machinery, more energy efficient equipment, systems that use renewable sources, alternative energy, a measure that will lead to the improvement of the quality of the environment. The project implemented by SC DIPAFI LIGHTING SRL provided for the implementation of measures regarding equal opportunity and treatment, respectively the employment of a person from the disadvantaged categories - a person with a medium degree of disability was employed. The investment provided measures to adapt the infrastructure for access to the location by people with disabilities, by purchasing a mobile ramp that facilitates access to the location.

The project implementation period was 30 months: respectively from 12.07.2019 to 31.12.2021.
